The Union Fair began in 1869 as a harvest fair organized by the North Knox Agricultural & Horticultural Society, and since 1959 it has also hosted the State of Maine Wild Blueberry Festival celebrating the state's wild blueberry harvest. General admission covers exhibits, demonstrations, concerts and parking, with ride bracelets sold separately. The fair runs Wednesday through Sunday at the fairgrounds on Fairgrounds Lane.
